Easter Egg Competition
Thank you to everyone who entered the PTFA Easter Egg Decorating competition. There were so many egg-cellent designs they were a delight to see - here are just a few of them! Well done!
Well done to our school choir who represented Coquet Park First School at the North Tyneside Spring Sing event at the Whitley Bay Playhouse. They performed two songs beautifully on stage to a full house, very well done to everyone who took part in the event.
Year 4 Open Morning
Year 4 had a fantastic open morning when Parents and Carers came into their classroom.
Year 4 Quicksticks Competition
A team of Year 4 children attended the Quick Sticks Hockey finals and played fantastically well against a lot of tricky opposition. It was a brilliant achievement for them to reach the finals stage and they should be really proud of themselves as we are!
We all had a great time getting active and raising money for Sport Relief this year.
Congratulations to a team of Year 3 children who represented the school at the Access Coaching dodge ball tournament this week and won! They were ecstatic with their trophy they received for their achievement. Well done!
The Great Coquet Park Fair Trade Bake Off
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Coquet Park Fair Trade Bake Off. The Fairtrade Committee took the role of judging the competition very seriously and thought long and hard about who should win in each category. They considered appearance, Fairtrade ingredients and of course the overall taste! Congratulations to all of our winners, your bakes were brilliant!
World Book Day 2018
Everyone had a fabulous day at Coquet Park on World Book Day 2018.
Thank you to everyone for taking part and coming to school dressed in their favourite storybook character. There were some very creative outfits - well done!
North Tyneside Dance Festival
Well done to Year 2 who represented Coquet Park First School at the North Tyneside Dance Festival at the Whitley Bay Playhouse.
Year 2 were out of this world with their performance dressed as astronauts and aliens. You should all be very proud.

Nursery Christmas Show
The nursery children did a wonderful job in performing their Christmas show 'Wriggly Nativity' this year! We hope you all enjoyed it!
Key Stage 1 Christmas Show
Well done to the children in Years 1 and 2 for their excellent production of The Angel Express. Great job!
Year 2 win the North Tyneside Skipping Festival 2018.
Year 2 represented our school in the skipping competition which was held at The Parks in North Shields. Lots of schools participated and many of the children won certificates for their achievements. Coquet Park were awarded overall winners of the competition. Well done Year 2 your hard work and effort has really paid off!!
Children In Need
Everyone enjoyed raising money for Children in Need this year. The children in Year 1 and Year 2 brought in cakes for our cake stall and we wore spots, stripes and Pudsey ears! We managed to raise a huge £410.10! Thank you for your support.
The children were starting to feel a little Christmassy today when the snow arrived! Lots of fun at playtime!
Thank you to all of the Parents and Grandparents who came to school to help the children with their Christmas Crafts! All of their projects look excellent and have filled the school with lots of Christmas cheer!
Y4 - Science Club
Year 4 have been experimenting in after school science club!
Thank you to everyone who donated food at this year's Harvest Festival. All of the donations, along with produce from the school allotment have been given to The Whitley Bay Food Bank.
