We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games PLATINUM Mark Award for the 2022/23 - 2023/24 academic years!
The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward and recognise school's engagement (provision and uptake) in the School Games against a national benchmark. As you may be aware, Coquet Park have achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for several years now, and last year we were eligible to apply for the Platinum level award. We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games PLATINUM Mark Award. To achieve Platinum really is a great achievement, and reflects the hard work and dedication of all of our children and staff. Well done everyone!
School Games
As you will be aware, we have been awarded the Gold School Games Mark for several years running. Due to school closures in March 2020, The School Games Team postponed awarding new marks for 2019-20.
However, our achievements have still been recognised! We have been awarded with a Recognition Certificate – for our ongoing commitments and achievements during the Autumn and Spring Terms; and a Virtual Certificate – for our support, commitment and engagement with virtual programmes during the summer term. Well done everyone!
