Summer Term:

Sports Day: The annual sports day was a big success and highlight of our Healthy Week.

The final results were: 

Warkworth Castle - 257 points

Bamburgh Castle - 259 points

Lindisfarne Castle - 276 points

Dunstanburgh Castle - 285 points

Alnwick Castle - 332 points 

Children's Cancer Run: The whole school came out for this charity event, where we completed a minimum of 10 laps of the school field - some managed even more!

Skipping Festival: Year 2 not only attended this event but were victorious as the winners!

Dodgeball Festival: Year 3 attended this event which Coquet Park hosted.

Quad Kids Athletics Event: Year 4 attended this event which allowed them to show off their running, jumping and throwing skills. Although they didn't get through to the next round, a special mention to our children who were ranked first and second in the boys taking part and a third place for the girls.

Bikeability: Reception class were learning how to ride a bicycle independently, developing balance, strength, co-ordination, gliding and stopping skills.

Hawkhirst Outdoor Adventure: Year 4 spent an exciting 4 days on this residential, where they displayed great resilience, resourcefulness and built upon relationships with their peers and teachers. 

Spring Term:

Active Mile: The whole school came out for this event, running an incredible 10 laps of the school field. 

North Tyneside Dance Festival: Year 3 performed an energetic and colourful dance routine at the Whitley Bay Playhouse alongside children from other schools in the borough.

Key Steps Gymnastics: Year 2 took part in this event which required them to perform a gymnastic routine under the scrutiny of a panel of judges.
